I hope to be your go-to for all things party planning, event organizing, and gift giving. As a mom of three wonderful, grown children and a proud GiGi to my adorable 3-year-old grandson, I have developed a passion for creating memorable experiences for family, friends, and colleagues.
For the past 30 years, I’ve worked in the corporate IT world, where I’ve become the unofficial party planner for my organization. From organizing large-scale retirement parties and team-building events with 300+ people to hosting a Wii Olympics for our company, I’ve done it all.
When the COVID-19 pandemic forced many of us to work remotely, I didn’t let that stop me. I continued to plan remote parties and team-building events, even orchestrating a hybrid remote/in-office event where online games ran all day and people in the office could participate while enjoying food and socializing.
My colleagues often tell me that I missed my calling and should have pursued a career as a professional party planner. It’s no surprise, then, that I have also planned several high school reunions for my class of 600+ alumni.
Aside from my love for entertaining, I have always enjoyed supporting my children in their various activities, whether it be sports, cheerleading, or color guard. With my two youngest now in college, I find myself looking for the next chapter in my life. That’s what led me to start this blog, where I can share my passion for party planning, event organizing, and gift-giving with others who want to create unforgettable memories.
A little more about me: I’m an FSU alumna, and my youngest daughter is currently enrolled there as well. We’re huge fans of football weekends and cheering on our beloved Seminoles. I also adore all things Disney and Harry Potter, so don’t be surprised if you see some magical touches in my party ideas!
